The Technology and Information Society Law practice area is headed by Maria José Andrade Campos and provides regular specialized legal assistance to companies associated with New Technologies, IT and Intellectual Property, namely through:

• Drafting of contracts related to the creation, development, implementation, management and maintenance of Information Technology systems;
• Drafting of contracts related to the creation, development, implementation, escrow and maintenance of Software;
• Drafting of contracts related to the creation, development and hosting of Websites;
• Drafting of contracts related to Internet access and the acquisition of Internet content;
• Domain name registration;
• Advising and counselling Internet Service Providers on civil liability regarding intellectual property infringement, and violation of personal data and image rights.
• Drafting of Hardware supply and distribution contracts;
• Licensing of computer programs, copyright protected works, know-how, trademarks and patents;
• Providing legal advice in the national and international protection of copyright, domain names, trademarks, design, tradenames, patents and personal data.
