• Graduated from the University of Lisbon Faculty of Law with a Degree in Law (1990).
• Master of Laws in the field of International Business Law (University of London – 1994). Obtained said degree as a full time internal student of the Faculty of Laws of the Queen Mary and Westfield College (currently Queen Mary, University of London), having concluded the following modules:
• International Tax Law;
• Commercial Arbitration;
• Legal Aspects of International Finance;
• International Trade Law.
• Completed a specialization module of the Master of Laws Degree of the University of Lisbon Faculty of Law (1999).
• Degree of Master of Laws by the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (2006). The final dissertation was on the topic “Accordion operations in public limited liability companies”.
